Playnormous is giving away custom iMac computers to public and private pre-K teachers, K-12 teachers, school librarians, and public librarians in the U.S. during the 2009-2010 school year. New winners will be announced each month so enter now for your chance to have a Monster iMac in your class, library or home!

About the Computers

Winners will be presented with an iMac computer with hand-illustrated custom applied shell, individually created by a Playnormous artist. Each will be a one-of-a-kind piece, complete with Intel Dual-core processor, built in iSight camera, Apple remote, keyboard, and mouse. Original artwork themes will be based on Playnormous monsters and will be appropriate for K-12 age groups. These refurbished computers were briefly used in an obesity research project and are awaiting a new home.

Who will Win

The Playnormous Monster iMac Giveaway is open to public and private pre-K teachers, K-12 teachers, school librarians, and public librarians in the continental U.S who use Playnormous health games. Entries will be judged by leading researchers and key players in the games for health industry from across the country. Winners will be determined based on game use, creativity, story and overall entry.

Hang it on your classroom wall as a poster, or tape it on your computer lab window. Place handouts at library computer stations, or send a copy home with each student. Don't forget to include your email address at the bottom so kids know where to email their blog post.
