What would a monster theme be without monster movies? Melanie decided to go digital with her second iMac to bring the classic era of monster films to life…Playnormous style.

Melanie used Adobe Photoshop to remake ten timeless movie posters, each featuring a famous monster character. Look closely and you’ll find each monster movie star has been replaced with a Playnormous one. See the Monster Lunch Lady in her second leading role as the oozy creature, “The Blob.” Our rock star monster earned the coveted role of “Godzilla,” and the in-progress Playnormous monster avatar creator was used to recreate the “Frankenstein” poster.



To craft the dusty, aged background, Melanie used ashes from burnt paper and drops of her favorite morning espresso (complete with hazelnut creamer and brown sugar). Crumpled text tops the design with the Playnromous name and tagline.

So pop some popcorn, sit back and enjoy the show with this Monster iMac made just for movie fans.
