EA Sports Active is being considered the Wii Fit’s first potential competitor with its first title being simply “Active.”
EA Sports Active is scheduled to launch next Spring and it’s target audience is, you got it, “women seeking a simple, fun and cost-effective way to achieve a healthy lifestyle.” EA Sports Active will retail for $59.99, and each copy will include a resistance band for upper body strength training exercises, as well as two specially-designed leg straps that hold the Wii’s Nunchuk controller to track lower body movements.
