It is with bitter sweetness that I inform you that I will no longer be the Director of Marketing for Playnormous and its parent company, Archimage. I have accepted a new position, a chance of a lifetime really, with the world-renowned Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System here in Houston.
Today, March 31, 2011, is officially my last day with Playnormous.
I am very excited about this new career opportunity, but at the same time, I will miss the Playnormous team very much. Playnormous has become like a second home to me, and my coworkers have become my friends. It has been an honor to work with such a dedicated group of people who all wish to make the lives of children better.
I will continue to write on Monster’s Blog for a while, at least through April. Once Archimage is able to find a new Director of Marketing and that individual gets settled, he or she will be introduced and take over the blog.
In the meantime, please direct all of your inquiries about Playnormous or Monster’s Blog to our development team at info[at]playnormous.com.
I would also like to take this opportunity thank all of you who have been dedicated readers of Monster’s Blog. Playnormous would not be what it is today without you.
For now, I bid you farewell. As always, I hope you have a monstrously happy and healthy rest of the year!
Best wishes,
Melanie M. Lazarus, MPH
